Creeks, Wetlands and Watersheds
The Creeks, Wetlands and Watersheds Committee works to conserve the productivity and habitat
values of Marin's creeks, wetlands and watersheds.
The Committee collects information on water and watershed issues and actions from
governmental agencies and other groups supporting watershed preservation.
Through these and other efforts, the Committee develops recommendations for policies and actions
that will protect local wetlands and watersheds and then encourages Marin County and Marin’s
cities to adopt these policies and recommendations.
The Committee also hosts meetings of the "Watershed Collaborators", a group of organizations
interested in the environmental health of Marin's watersheds. These meetings are held about twice a year.
Meets:
First Thursday of each month at 4:00 PM at the MCL office.
