Samuel P. Taylor State Park

The Parks and Open Space Committee advocates for parks and public open space in Marin by participating in planning processes that involve the federal, state and county lands in Marin. Committee members monitor projects and provide informed comments on proposals, issues and reports affecting these lands. Major current projects include the Golden Gate National Recreational Area General Management Plan, the Point Reyes National Seashore Management Plan, the Marin Countywide General Plan, Fire Safe Marin and the Angel Island Founder's Grove. The Committee also sponsors hands-on work projects and leads field trips.
