Ring Mountain (1981)
MCL supported The Nature Conservancy in the purchase of 117 acres
of Ring Mountain above Paradise Drive in Corte Madera. The lands
were later passed on for protection to the Marin County Open Space
District.
MCL continues to work on preserving important natural features
of Marin. Projects have included the San Rafael Shoreline, Corte
Madera marshes, Bahia, Rush Creek in Novato, Bel Marin Keys and
other creeks, wetlands and ridges.
